The First Annual Slye Family Harvest Festival

Well, we had to miss the big Pumpkin Festival this year because we had a womens ministry thing at our church all day this saturday, so we had our own. You really should've heard Abigail try to tell the lady at walmart what we were buying all these pumpkins for! She called it the first anibal slye family......what else is it mommy?" It was awesome! So we decorated our back porch with pumpkins and hay bales...
And spent the few days before baking very fall-like goodies for the baked good table...
used our wagon filled with hay for a two-child-at-a-time hay ride...
ate more pumkin-ish goodies...and had hot apple cider and caramel apples not pictured here....
and some candy corn shaped cookies from our local bakery and homemade mini apple pies...
drew on pumkins....(carving pumkpins with 7 kids and three adults seemed overwhelming)
and paid for each booth's item with tickets...

and followed up the day with breaking up a bale of hay to jump into it! What a fun day! We will definitely be doing this again next year!!!
