This year, we will not have football on thanksgiving because we dont have cable so we dont get any channels. But this was the first year that we taught the kids a bit of football themselves. Yesterday, a few of the college kids came over in the afternoon to hang out, and it turned into some football playing. It was so awesome! Seth went the wrong way and scored touchdowns for the wrong team, but it wa sso awesome to see him get the ball and go running, with his sister close behind ready to tackle her! And boy, did she take him down!! Cute little goobers. The crisp fall air, childish squeals of delight, a football being tossed through the air....thats thanksgiving!
