It finally stopped raining yesterday afternoon, and so on the way in from the car, I couldn't deny them the pleasure of a little splashing.... Its been so long since they played outside and they were already in their rain boots (because that's the only way to leave the house these days) so on the way in, as they passed a puddle, and made the gentle suggestion that they could play a bit. They both looked at me with this look that said, "Will this get me in trouble?" and proceeded to splash away! It was so awesome! They of course had to have their clothes changed once we got inside and they even managed to get me a little dirty in the process, but I would SO do it all over again!
