This was such a great Christmas!!! We felt super blessed! Like spoiled kids really. Daddy got almost a week off from work and we had so much family time!!! We went to Sherman one day to go shopping and drink starbucks and then on another day we drove all the way to Frisco and ate at the Cheesecake factory and watched ice skating and walked around the elaborately decorated mall. SO awesome! I apologize in advance for the large number of pictures. Just had to include them!
After the Christmas Eve service on Thursday, it actually began to snow!!! We havent had snow here since we moved here, so it was a neat little surprise. We woke up Christmas morning to a lightly snow dusted world. Just perfect for a cozy Christmas morning!
The view from our front porch first thing in the morning.

This is the snowman that daddy made because we werent sure that the snow would stay long enough for Abigail to play in it. She was able to make a small snow man later in the day though. Pretty cute!

The traditional hot chocolate drinking while reading the Christmas story

The kids were given these awesome mugs as a gift from friends of ours that have a tiny animal inside, so as you drink the cocoa down, more of the giraffe or cow or whatever you have shows up. Seth was SO amazed!!!! (thats a little giraffe head in his cup)

Before we started opening gifts.

Abigail gave her gifts to Seth first. He was so overjoyed by this simple dollar store bus. She picked it out all by herself and I love that she knows her brother well enough to know what he would like for Christmas. Then she hugged him after he said thank you. The morning could have ended right there as far as I am concerned. I love those two!

This is the snow man that she made. Pay no attention to the grass sticking out.

We made ice cream snow men, because Abigail was so disappointed that she couldnt eat the snowman that she made outside (silly girl)

They started to melt quickly though, so they didnt finish. Just munched em. Next time I will pre-freeze the scoops of ice cream. And there WILL be a next time. This was a super fun Cjristmas Day activity!

And we spent the rest of the day playing with all of their loot. Seth got Mack and life was complete.

Merry Christmas!!!!
