How can it be that she turned 5 years old this morning!! No way jose! Five just sounds so old. No longer a baby. No longer even a pre-schooler. She is such a big girl. We woke her up singing to her this morning and then she got to pick out whatever she wanted for breakfast. Anything. Did she pick donuts? Lucky Charms? Nope. She specifically asked for berry waffles (she is very into this strawberry shortcake theme right now) cheerios, and apples. Alrighty little girl, easy to please.Saturday, January 9, 2010
I just don't believe it!
Thats my little girl. I remember her first birthday party (here comes the cliche) like it was just yesterday. She had hardly any hair, but in the back in curled up into these little Shirley Temple things that made my heart go pitter-patter. She only had 3 of her front teeth, but all four of her molars in the back. She had the biggest smile. She had the vocabulary of a two year old according to her doctor. She had, and still has, my heart.

She had quite a few presents to open because of grandparents and relatives that sent her stuff, so that was lining the window behind her while she played with her apples O's.
She decided to play a bit more.
Then got her Daddy involved with the fun.
We opened presents and then proceeded to have an awesome day together. I just cant believe she is not my little baby girl anymore! Could we at least freeze time right now? Please???
