That is pronounced "Thoooo" by my adorable 2 year old...gotta love it! We were set to got to the zoo on Thursday and we were all looking so forward to it when the kiddos got a super nasty cold and we realized that there was no way we could go. It was set to rain the next 2 two days so we firgured we'd have to wait a while before we could go, but when we woke up Saturday morning, it was only a 20% chance of rain, we decided to go for it. It rained. Quite a bit at one point, so we huddled under an over pass and waited it out. But all in all ,we had a great time. The kids were still not feeling 100%, so we brought the wagon and bundled them into it and stacked them up with blankets and snacks and we were off to see penguins and galapogos tortoises and giraffes and elephants and (Abigail's fave of the day) a 9 foot long albino alligator! It was pretty cool. The first two hours, it rained quite a bit, and the kids had NO interest whatsoever in getting out of the wagon (my poor hubby's arms were killing him up some of those hills!!) But then it cleared up and they had a blast. They climbed all over these statues of some kangaroos and later some elephants and we took the monorail and they played and ran around and had a great time. It was a fun family day and Im so glad we went!
p.s. how cute is my little man carrying his "mankie" around the zoo? Wish I could just freeze this stage in life and stay here always. I know as he gets older, I'll enjoy even more of him, like I do with Abigail, but still......
